Class Description:
Art at Brentwood Elementary is driven by Kagan Cooperative Learning and 21st Century Skills. Students work in teams on curricula content while creating individual art projects. Technology is used daily.

Needs:
Technology to be placed in students' hands. The more my students can apply their art experience to various digital media the more engaged my students will be.
My Philosophy:
I believe all children are artists and talented in different ways. I believe that every student can succeed and art is an avenue of self-exploration.Many of the skills needed for success in the 21st Century workforce are mastered in elementary art class. In art class we learn social skills, perseverance, and self-direction.
