Class Description:
My class is made up of 8 boys and 11 girls. All my students are Hispanic. We are a Title 1 school. 100% of my students are on free or reduced lunch. They are native Spanish speakers, and the great majority of their parents have no English language skills. This makes it hard for them to help with the English part of our program.
Position:
First grade dual language
Needs:
Materials for them to take home and practice the skills we are learning at school. Books in Spanish to add to the classroom library.
My Philosophy:
I believe that ll children can learn and have fun doing it. I also believe that all children deserve an opportunity to obtain the very best and up to date education possible to meet their individual needs.

Why Do I Teach?:
I consider teaching my calling, not my job. I love what I do. There is something special about being able to make a difference in a child's life.
