My class is made up of a variety of students that come from many different backgrounds. The majority of them do not have a lot of money so school is their opportunity to see and do things that they would not otherwise be able to experience. They love to learn and enjoy doing things that let them get up and move!
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
We need more technology resources in our class! I love to incorporate technology as much as possible in my class. We specifically want Flip video cameras to create class movies and projects. We love all the newest technology and want any opportunity to learn something new!
My Philosophy:
I believe in reaching each and every student in my classroom where they are when they come to me. I encourage them to push into their potential of greatness while they are in my room and forever. I encourage my students to seek to be lifelong learners in whatever area they love most! I also try my best to make learning fun through a variety of lessons and strategies to get them involved in the process.

College and Degrees:
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Activities:
I love reading, playing with my dog, quilting, scrapbooking, doing research for new school ideas and photography.
Favorite Books:
I love anything by Roald Dahl!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach kids to make a difference in value of education. I want my students to leave my classroom with a hunger to learn more. We do so many fun and exciting things to get them involved in their own education. I want learning in my class to be different through a variety of resources such as games, technology and movement. My students inspire me daily to keep reaching for the next thing to hook them into learning.
