My classroom is filled with students that are excited about learning. They are so open to trying new ways to learn and come to school with new ideas every day. The students in my classroom do not have crystal clear backgrounds. At times they might come to school with stories you would never expect a child to tell. But when they are in my classroom I can see that somehow they still have a space in their heart for the joy of life. They keep their heads up and want to succeed even though sometimes they have to take the hard road to get there.
Position:
teacher
Needs:
Currently, the technology in my classroom consists of an overhead projector that has seen better days, and a cassette listening center that eats tapes more than it plays them.
My Philosophy:
The students in my classroom need to be able to be digital learners, but how can I teach them to be that without the proper supplies?
