Class Description:
This course will provide an introduction into various methods of printing with emphasis on offset. Areas of offset printing include design, layout, process photography, film assembly, plate making, press operations, and bindery functions. This course content includes image assembly, scanning, digital photography, bindery operations, screen-printing, employment and post-secondary school graphic arts opportunities.

Needs:
We are in need of getting 20 new iMac desktop computers. Our current computers are past the 6 year warranty, and in the past few months the hard drives or logic boards have been going bad. The amount of money to replace the hard drives and logic boards is about the same as purchasing new computers.
My Philosophy:
To teach students real world skills and abilities, so that they can get a career in the graphic arts industry. In order to train students to industry standards, I need equipment that the industry uses.
