Earth Systems and Environmental science are interdisciplinaryscience application subjects. In both classes hands on experiments and data analysis lead to student centered discovery and accretion of new information.

My Philosophy:
Learning requires tools of the trade and the opportunities to experience significant real world science application. Learning is an adventure and a student will only enhance their knowledge by getting involved, getting dirty, having experiences.

About Me:
Nelson Spratt has just finished his first year as a professional educator at VRHS. Science and exploration of the natural world are a few of his passions. He enjoys mineral collecting, playing guitar, and playing board games. Mr. Spratt has lived in the West Georgia Area for 10 years with his wife and one year old daughter.
