The school is currently working on attaining more technology tools that were lost during Hurricane Rita's flooding. From 2005 through May of 2009, our school was basically in the survival mode. The entire school had to relocate four times, with the last three years in FEMA buildings. In August 2009, we were finally able to move back to our own school plant. As Dorothy says in the Wizard of Oz, "there is no place like home!" Our goal now lies with attaining technology software, cameras, etc that were lost in flood, as well as acquiring reading/ELA software for our daily reading technology centers. I have always enjoyed working with children. I taught for 15 years, worked as an Assistant Principal and I am currently in my third year as Principal.
