My students are bilingual children who come from low income households. 5th grade is their transition year and struggle with the English language.

Most of my students do not own or have any access to technology. Having Ipads in my class will allow me to teach them Science and reading using technology.
My Philosophy:
All students can learn regardless their backgrounds. With the right tools and a teacher who cares about them as if they were her own children, it can be done.

Im a very humble person who like the children I teach, came from the same background as many of them. I also grew up in a low income household with not many resources available to me as a bilingual student. I struggled with english but I had outstanding teachers who really cared about me.

I have worked in the same campus for almost 19 years in diffrent positions, starting with teacher's aid, substitute, teacher specialist and teacher.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach for the love of children. The inner reward I feel when my students learn something new and are successful is the best feeling in the world.
