My students love technology! It is amazing how technology can level the playing field for students with disabilities. We need digital cameras and a large trackball mouse for a student who has trouble using a small mouse.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is simple: All students can learn and all students have gifts! My students have many different kinds of SMARTS! I make sure they are given all the opportunities that other high school students are given.

About Me:
I am married with two beautiful children. I have been a Special Education Teacher for three years. I have 9 dogs, a bunny, and a bird. You could say that I have a large bleeding heart! I coach a team of students with disabilities in baseball and basketball for our local recreation department.
College and Degrees:
I graduated in 2007 with a B.S in Special Education. I am highly qualified in LD and MD.
I graduate in Dec. 09 with my MEd.
I am getting my Masters plus 30 in Admin.
Activities:
I love sports and reading. I take my students camping once year. This is my 5th season coaching students with disabilities in baseball and basketball.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach students with intellectual disabilities because it is my calling. I have the best job in the world. My students are my life! They give me way more than I could ever give them.
