Class Description:
My students love being able to use technology! It intrigues and captivates them to have something other than a paper, pencil, or book in their hand. Many students in my classroom, and at our school, do not have technology or Internet capabilities at home. When they are able to use these resources at school their minds are engaged and attitudes are enthusiastic about learning!
Position:
2nd grade teacher
Needs:
Technology for response to intervention groups. Students above level can use technology to search further and create their own learning experiences. Students below level can use technology to practice skills that need improving in an interactive and interesting way.

About Me:
I have been teaching three and a half years at Waller Elementary. I love teaching and I learn something new from my students each day. While they believe I am only teaching them, they are teaching, shaping, and molding me too!
College and Degrees:
Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education
Why Do I Teach?:
Teaching isn't just a job. It's a passion I have for education and children. I am blessed to do what I do each day and look forward to sculpting students in their educational journey and lives. I count it an honor to work with each student. Watching "lightbulbs" go off in their minds and the, "Aha!" moments are the greatest. I constantly strive to create new methods for learning creatively, incorporating new materials for my students to utilize in the classroom.
