I teach all grades Pre-K - 5th computers and technology.

Needs:
Our students are from a very high poverty area. They are from homes were there may be no lights or water at times. There is a high crime rate in the area as well. They hear gun shots all the time and most of our children are raising thier younger siblings.

About Me:
I have been teaching 9 years and it is my passion. I make learning fun for the children and work very hard to keep them wanting more.
College and Degrees:
BA degree from Northwestern State Universtiy Working on MA in Educational Technology
Activities:
I like to read, travel, spend time with my family, and I enjoy water sports.
Favorite Books:
Anything written by Nicholas Sparks. I also like Harry Potter.

I have taught school for the past 9 years. While in college worked for a poultry company in sales, accounts rec. and payable.
Why Do I Teach?:
To touch the lives of as many children I can. It is my career not just a job.
