About Me:
I have been teaching for five years. I have been fortunate to teach kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade and sixth grade. The experiences that I have had teaching help me become a better person and educator.
College and Degrees:

Activities:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three dogs. We love to go camping and hiking, off-roading, and spending time with friends and family.

scrapbooking, photography, camping, hiking, traveling
Employment History:
I have been an educator for over eight years. While I was in college I taught preschool. I feel that teaching preschool gave me a great foundation for teaching in an elementary school setting. I have been fortunate enough to teach many grade levels at three different schools. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, I have been layed off two times. On a positive note I have met wonderful friends along my journey. These friends have been so eager to welcome me into their schools and lives.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to see that sparkle in a child's eyes when they learn something new, or when they finally grasp a concept that was difficult for them to understand.I teach because I know that I can make a difference in a person's life. I teach because it is the most rewarding career on the planet.
