Class Description:
My classroom is made up of a variety of student backgrounds. We have a wide cultural and language population in our classroom, as well as many different learning backgrounds and skill levels. A majority of the students are at-risk students, including students in the special education and English as a second language programs.

My philosophy is that learning can be fun. I also believe that all students have the ability to reach their full potential.

Why Do I Teach?:
I choose to teach because I can. I can make a difference, I can help students, and I can teach them to love to learn. I can help students realize that learning is enjoyable and that it will continue to be a life long activity. I can provide students the motivation and support need to achieve and feel success both academically, socially, and personally. That is why I teach.
