Why I need this:
Our school has a newly implemented computer science program where our youngest learners are introduced to technology, robotics, and coding in order to engage new skill sets and promote equity and computer literacy at every age and ability. Students in this class are given the chance to tap into new possible strengths outside of the traditional classroom and promote exploration, collaboration, and teamwork, all while preparing the future thinkers and doers of the next generation. We currently only have 3 sets of curiosity kits that were kindly donated. This is not enough for a class of 22-25 students to engage all together as a class. While we have benefitted from sharing the materials we do have, we would greatly benefit from smaller groups of students being able to engage with the materials so each student has more hands on time with the equipment. |
