Students per Class: 120
Class Description:
Students from 1st to 5th grade who have been identified as gifted. We meet once a week to support their learning needs.
Position:
Gifted Education Teacher
Needs:
Technology. The curriculum for gifted classes is developed based upon student strengths, and our students have a need for access to advanced technology, which will provide excellent learning experiences for challenging their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
My Philosophy:
All students needs should be supported. Our higher performing students need to be challenged, just as our struggling students do. All students need appropriate resources to enhance their learning and to meet their full potential.
