Class Description:
I work with all teachers to provide students with information literacy instruction and practice and provide the whole school community with access to needed and wanted information sources in all formats for both academic and personal perposes.
Position:
Library Media Specialist
Needs:
I have a very limited budget and want to provide students with the best access to resources and methods available today, including the resources to create video and audio projects and presentations. Laptops, digital cameras/video cameras are the most needed at this time.

About Me:
I taught for 3 years before I became a librarian. I have been in the library field now for 9 years. When not working I play ice hockey and also have a passion for travel, which has taken me to many parts of the world.
College and Degrees:
B.A. in Sociology from Yale University M.S. in Teaching from SUNY Plattsburgh M. Library Science from University at Albany
Activities:
I love to play ice hockey, hiking, other sports; I enjoy food and festivals....anythinginteresting that I can experience.

Usually non-fiction, such as The Devil Came on Horseback, but I do have some YA fiction favorites....SarahDessen and Ellen Wittlinger.
