I teach Spanish I - IV. I also teach ASL I-III. I usually have split classes (more than one level per class), and projects are a great way to get students up and motivated.
Position:
Spanish Teacher
Needs:
I would love to have a flip camera to allow students to videotape projects in Spanish or ASL and allow them to hear themselves. They could then work on pronunciation/signingskills.
My Philosophy:
I think that all students can learn. Some students need to be able to learn in non-traditional ways. Sitting in a desk for 90 minutes is a very hard task for some.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love being able to help students learn! I think that learning should be more than just sitting in a classroom, and having the tools to allow students to move around will also improve their desire to learn.
