Class Description:
I teach math on a 3 man team. I get to have an impact on 75 wonderful children. I have a very diverse classroom. We are a magnet school with an emphasis on Math and Science. We are also a Blue Ribbon School!
Position:
5th grade teacher
Needs:
We are in need of 21st century technolgy. We are trying to teach our children how to utilize and succeed in a 21st century world, and we lack the technology do so. I have been to many workshops and training, but are unable to teach my students how to integrate technology in their presentations and how to use it as a resource. I need the flip cameras for my class, 5-10 would be great. I would be able to let the students go on walking field trips and record math shapes; as well as become historians. I also need a SMART Board and an ELMO. I have programs that would bring math alive to my students if we had these resources. I have SUCH a wonderful group of students and I want them to have the BEST learning experience possible!
My Philosophy:
My goal is for my students to work together in cooperative teams and love to learn. They need to to be able to be successful in our society and that presents the need to be trained on how to use the most current and advanced technology.

About Me:
I have taught 5th grade for 13 years. I LOVE teaching and I can not think of anything else that I would rather have a career in. I have 2 sons myself.
College and Degrees:
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Eduction and a Masters of Eductiion.
