Class Description:
CHS is in the rural upstate of the state. It was a textile mill community that has suffered with the closing of the town mill 7 years ago. Most of my students live below the poverty level and are not exposed to technology outside of the classroom. Our district does not have the funds available to keep up with all the technology needs of our classrooms. Technology and Science go hand-in-hand and I need my students to have their hands on technology to make their educational experience come alive in my science classroom.
