I work with every student in the school by planning and teaching with teachers. I try to influence assignment architecture so that it includes a "real-world" reason for research that will require students to make a decision and promote that decision persuasively. (Students have to think. Copying and pasting doesn't work. Making a poster or report is not the purpose.) I integrate information and technology literacy into content lessons. I also promote independent reading. (Last year our students read almost half a billion words.)
