Class Description:
I am a special education resource room teacher. All of my students have disabilities and are on Individualized Education Plans. I teach math, writing, and reading to 1st and 2nd grade special education students.

Needs:
Many of my students are visual learners. With technology my students would better be able to see and experience their learning in various ways. They would have a variety of different ways to grasp concepts being taught to them.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy: To have a positive learning environment where my students feel safe to be themselves, work hard, feel success no matter how small, and have fun!

Why Do I Teach?:
My dream since kindergarten was to become a teacher... and here I am! I teach because I love children and it is a very rewarding as well as an exciting career. There is nothing better than witnessing your students feel a sense of success and to see their excitement when they conquer a challenge. I loved learning as a child and I work very hard at instilling a love of learning in my students!
