Class Description:
I work in a media center with a partially fixed, partially flexible schedule. This means that I see some classes every week on aregular basis and some classes scheduled a time with me to fit their needs.

Needs:
Due to the increased usage of technology in our everyday world, I believe we need to use technology as a teaching tool. All students should be exposed to technology in shcools on a daily basis if possible. The items on my wish list are all for use throughout our school.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a 54 year old media specialist who entered the field of education at the ripe old age of 48. After spending 20 years as a stay at home mom, I decided it was time to try my hand at something new. My love of books and sharing them with all children is what led me into the school media center (library). I am enjoying every minute of my new career!
College and Degrees:
NCSU - Batchelor of Arts in Sociology with a Concentration in Social Work (1976) ECU - Masters in Library Science (2005)
Why Do I Teach?:
My love of books and sharing them with children is my primary motivation. The items listed in my wish list would all be used to this end. Integration of technology is so important in today's world. We must teach our children to function at high levels in the world we live in now and that includes the use of technology at every turn.
