About Me:
As a way to supplement my income as a recent graduate in architecture, I became a substitute teacher with several local schools from K-12. Not much later, I realized that I had fallen in love with the classroom and decided to get a degree in teaching. I continued substitute teaching and attended classes part time until I earned my master's degree in special education. I have been teaching for 12 years now and am still in love.
College and Degrees:
BA, BS, BAA at City College of NYC
MEd at University of New Hampshire
Activities:
In the summer I'm usually in my garden, walking my Corgi, hiking with my husband, relaxing at the beach or lake with a good book. Winter months...cross country skiing!
Favorite Books:
One of my latest favorites is "Room" but I also liked "Help"
Favorite Quotes:
"Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only in death." Albert Einstein
Interests:
During the school year, I could be called a computer nerd because I spend a lot of time looking for awesome teacher web sites, lesson plans, and great recipies for dinner.

I worked as a free lance architect for a few years then left for my career in teaching which begain at the middle school level and will come to its end at the elementary level in a few years.
