My classroom is in the middle of a large urban city. The building is over 100 years old and believe me it looks it. My students live in a very low income area where parents work any and every job in order to support their families. This leaves no money for extras like computers or digital cameras. In this day and age, being technologically savvy is not a luxury - it is a necessity. I want to provide my students with many different experiences with technology so they to can become capable to use these materials as their suburban counterparts.
