Class Description:
I have just taken a position as a Literacy Coach/IST teacher in my building. We are a 4-6 building with approximately 200 students.
Position:
5th grade teacher
Needs:
Technology and Software is a need in our building. We use the internet to access free websites for student practice but the connection is not always reliable.

College and Degrees:
Undergraduate degree at Shippensburg University Mastersin Special Education at Western Maryland College Presentlypursuing an Administrative degree at McDaniel College
Favorite Books:
Some of my favorites are: Harry Potter, A Wrinkle in Time, Dive and Island series, and any adult mystery.
Employment History:
I have been teaching for 15 years. I began in the primary grades and move to 5th where I've spent the last 9 years of my career. This year I took a position as a Literacy Coach/IST teacher.
Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy spending time with the students and seeing the academic, social, and personal growth over time.
