Class Description:
Our classes are made up of rural students and some hurricane transplants. We are a small school with limited income and resources. We don't have much technology. Our school is a total inclusion school with a wide range of student ability levels.
Position:
Regular Education Teacher
Needs:
We need technology in the classrooms! I fear that our rural students will be at a disadvantage with out experience in using computers when they get into the "real-world."

About Me:
I have been married for 17 years and have two teenage children. We live in rural Louisiana and love it!
College and Degrees:
I have a B.S. in Social Studies Education with a secondary certification in English, as well as, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
Employment History:
I have worked at my present school for 8 years.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to touch to lives of tomorrow. I don't believe those negative people who predict doom and gloom for our society. I believe that we all should stand together and do our part to help make a difference in the lives of students in order to ensure a better future for all children.
