My students range in age from 5-7 and represent a variety of ethnicities, including African American, Hispanic and Caucasian. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic background and did not enter school with an understanding of basic technology skills.

My class is in need of funding for digital cameras, a photo printer, ink and photo paper to be used for classroom projects.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students can and will learn if only given the opportunity. I hope to show students how technology can be used in the classroom so that they can learn to use various tools in their everyday life.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education and Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. I am also ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) certified.
Favorite Books:
One of my favorite books is "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss. My favorite children's authors are Dr. Seuss, Jan Brett and Laura Numeroff.
Interests:
I am an avid Disney fan and enjoy going to theme parks with my friends and family.

I have blessed to be able to teach at Lime Street Elementary (now know as Philip O'Brien Elementary) for 13 years.
