Class Description:
The library media center services 525 high school students. Our school has the highest English Language Learner (ELL) population in the state of Missouri, but operates on a $30,000 yearly budget with only one ELL teacher. Subsequently, we do not have money for technology. Our students do not have equipment for podcasting or movie making. Our library computers are outdated.

About Me:
I love to read and work with books; however, I am fascinated by technology and love integrating technology with print. I enjoy the challenge of learning new technologies and integrating the old with the new.

B.S.S.E (social studies and English), M.Ed. (reading education) and M.L.S. (library science)

I have worked 12 years as a communication arts and reading teacher and 14 years as an elementary and secondary school librarian.
