Our classroom is the only Multi-handicap class in the two elementary schools. We have 7 children, ranging in age from 5 to 10. There are 2 girls and 5 boys. We have a fantastic time in our classroom, enjoying everything from arts and crafts to academics to free time.
Position:
Multi-handicappedTeacher
Needs:
Since we have three children in wheelchairs with severe disabilities, we greatly need technological services that fit the needs of our students. A touch screen, a new computer (our old Apple will not accept any of the programs we have for our children- intellipics, intellikeys, etc.), switch toys, and a digital camera to prepare for the VAAP! Our other four children enjoy puzzles and matching games, as well as books and light & sound toys.
