Class Description:
Most of my students have very little or no technology at their disposable. My students range from Special Needs to High Achievers.
Position:
5th grade Teacher
Needs:
Students need digital opportunities to relearn and review outside of class, additionally helpful for the absent student. Also teach students how to improve their writing by using plagiarism checkers and online writing tools. Tablets, Ipads, and Ipods are greatly needed to enhance student participation and writing skills.
My Philosophy:
The more technology tools you put in the hands of students and teachers, the more technology becomes a natural expression of their thinking. Integration is when classroom teachers use technology to introduce, reinforce, extend, enrich, assess, and remediate student mastery of curricular targets.
