My 7th grade English class is a dynamic group. We are loud and extremely interactive. I am currently using Smart Board software, but I do not have a Smart Board big enough for the entire class to see and interact with. The Smart Board is an absolutely amazing learning tool. I have been using one of the first ones in my Learning Support English classes for years now, but it is too small to work in a larger class setting.
Position:
English Teacher
Needs:
I really, really need a bigger Smart Board. The Wireless Airliner Slate is definitely a want, but it is a great complimentary tool to the Smart Board.
My Philosophy:
Teach kids without them knowing they are learning. I like a fun, interactive classroom where learning is always happening. I am easily bored, and I know today's technology savvy kids are too. Learning needs to be hands-on and interactive!!!
