I teach one English III class, and the other sections I teach are 'English lab' classes, so I see approx 500 kids every week. Those 500 students see me for instruction once a week.

There are always needs in the field of education. I, personally, need to be more proficient in incorporating technology in my classroom. My students need to see and use more technology at school, and the community needs to benefit from integrated instruction that fosters technological growth in the classroom.

About Me:
I have been teaching high school English Language Arts since 1995--with the exception of a two year break when I had my first two daughters. I enjoy what I do and feel fortunate to get paid to teach for a living.
College and Degrees:
B.A. in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio (1995).
Activities:
I co-Sponsor the Interact Club--a service-oriented group-- which is a branch of our local Rotary Club.

Employment History:

I teach because I enjoy working with young people, and I believe I help make a difference.
