Class Description:
I teach a variety of academic levels of 7th grade general science. We focus on the topics of Atmosphere, Human Body Systems, Motion and Forces, and Genetics.

My Philosophy:
I believe every child has an innate interest in at least one scientific aspect, but it has to be encouraged and built upon in order for that interest to grow into a love for science. Teachers, parents, friends, field trips, activities, games, and other things can spark positive feelings in a child that encourages and produces that love for science. We should help students find that love, because after all...without science, where would we be? We'd have no technology, no materials to build with, no plastic, no doctors or engineers, and no comfort in our lives. We need science, but kids need it more!
