Class Description:
I am the 4th grade Language Arts AIMS teacher in Alief ISD. Our AIMS program is designed to support and enrich the lives of Gifted and Talented students. Between my partner and me, we have 32 gifted and talented 4th graders.

Needs:
I like to use a lot of technology in my classroom, but often money is reserved for the "at risk" students, due to No Child Left Behind. We are very short on computers, digital cameras, video cameras as well as printers. It is very hard to use technology every day, when there are only three computers in my classroom.

I graduated from the University of Houston, with a degree in Interdisciplinarystudies, minoring in English and Spanish.

I have been teaching at Boone Elementary for nine years.
