My class is an inviting learning environment full of creative energy, and endless possibilities.

Needs:
I am in need of digital cameras, and a printer. We are involved with a photo-journalism project that requires students to use digital technology. I would also like a document projector to use will teaching.
My Philosophy:
I believe in the power of words. I believe that an education can change the way you think about yourself, and an education is powerful enough to change the way others think about you.

About Me:
I grew up in Waller on a farm. My family worked hard to fufill their desires. I believe that a ruralistic lifestyle teaches a person to cultivate a creative and independent spirit. I am grateful to live in the community in which I work. Children are the best possible by product of my job.
College and Degrees:
Texas Woman's University; B.S. Lamar University (Master's degree in progress)
Activities:
Gardening, Reading, Cooking, and Writing are passions that I enjoy.

My favorite books are: The Poisonwood Bible, The Outsiders, Hatchet, Peter Pan, Goodnigh Moon, and To Kill a Mockingbird....thislist could go on forever.

I have worked in education for the last 12 years.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach students because they offer me a world of knowledge and possibilities. I learn from them, and hopefully, if all goes well, they will learn something from me. Teaching allows me to contribute to society, teaching allows me to affect tomorrow.
