Class Description:
I teach Reading to grades 6-8 at a North East ISD school in San Antonio. I love my job and I love engaging students in reading for a lifelong habit.
Position:
Reading Department Chair
Needs:
I would like to institute a reading/writing workshop in which we combine our Reading and English classes at the middle school level into 90 minute blocks. In order to do this we would need a classroom set of chromebooks. I would use Google Classroom and digital portfolios to achieve the goal of a paperless classroom.
My Philosophy:
It is my goal to encourage 21st century learning and reading for better understanding in life.
