Fifth grade science and technology. I get to be the one who opens up the door of scientific curiosity through technology innovation! We work to better our understanding of science and how to communicate out ideas through technology.
Position:
5th Grade Science/Technology
Needs:
MORE TECHNOLOGY! Students are inundate with technology everyday, at home and in the community. So why do we lack so much in schools? Students are learning TOO MUCH of their technology know-how at home, when they should be learning it in the classroom so that we can show them how they can truly use this medium as a creative expression of themselves.
The more technology they see around them in the classroom, the better they become as technologically fluent citizens.
My Philosophy:
To engage every student in understanding the world around them through self reflective curiosity and to express their ideas through technologically innovative ways.
