Class Description:
Working at a Title 1 campus in Katy, Texas, I have a great group of students who just need opportunities for learning outside of the norm. They are a wonderful bunch of growing individuals that I hope to expand their horizons outside of state-testing, and open the world of technology into their hearts.

Needs:
Our campus is currently not as technology-focusedas others in the district, due to low test scores and district demands. Ideally, we need (6) smartboard kits (one for every grade level), a collection or cart of ELMOs (which would save money and resources), even a second lab top cart to rotate around the school. Minor items include a digital camera class kit for multimedia projects and additional projectors for classroom use.
My Philosophy:
Content-subject integration is essential to all learners k-8. In order for a well-rounded education to be provided to students, they need real-world experiences and learning situations that use all subjects and knowledges cohesively.
