Class Description:
My class explores many different science topics through out the year - we have a compost in our room; composting from the cafeteria and we hatch chicks We explore social studies through our classroom first and then out into the community. We have fun learning through these two integrated subjects.

About Me:
I am teaching in the school district I graduated from; with many of the teachers that taught me. I have been teaching here for the past 11 years.
College and Degrees:
I received my B.S. from Saint Joseph's College in Windham, ME I received my M.S. from the University of New England

The Twilight Series The Brisiger Series The Harry Potter Series
Interests:
I enjoy playinng with the Totoket Ancient Fife and Drum Corp. I played the fife for 24 years and most recently on the bass drum, for the past 6 years.
Why Do I Teach?:
Kids have always been an inspiration. They see the world without predjudice; they believe in magic; they believe they can and so they do. I teach because there is still magic in the world because the kids show it to me everyday and that makes it all worth while!
