I teach middle school (6th grade) math. I have one section of advanced math (7th grade level), and 4 classes of 6th grade math.

Technology is constantly changing and becoming more and more ideal in today's society. I would like my classroom to reflect the needs of teaching today's generation.
My Philosophy:
My goal for students is to learn something new everyday. I don't want to just teach my students the answers, I want them to discover them for themselves. That is what makes education more meaningful.

Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University, with a minor in Athletic Coaching. Master of Education from Gratz College.

Favorite Books:
too many to name - love reading for both pleasure and education purposes. I feel it is important to be a life-long learner, to stay informed and updated on current educational practices.
Interests:
Love the Disney Character Tigger. I try to stay fun-loving and positive like Tigger. Life is not about the cards you are dealt, but rather how you play the cards that counts.
Employment History:
I currently have multiple part time jobs in addition to my full time teaching job, just to have funds available to supply for my classroom.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I find no greater joy than helping children. Teaching is a job that creates all other jobs. Everyone who is anyone had to be taught how to do what they do by someone.
