I teach art to all the K-5 students at West Terrace Elementary School. I also direct an afterschool elementary hands-on 5th grade history club called TRACES.

I love writing and have written a juvenile historical adventure book set on the Ohio River. I have not pushed for its publication, yet, as family medical problems have taken priority; however, my students have told me that they LOVE it when I read it to them.

I have taught every age from kindergarten through university and taught from the rural school room to suburban to the inner-city. I have done this in Indiana, Ohio, and New York.
Why Do I Teach?:
I am called to teach. My personality, my creativity, and my training draw me to the simple wonder of the children's minds; we laugh, enjoy, and discover. I love teaching!
