Why I need this:
We are working to revamp our library into a learning space for our students. We serve 8th-12th grade students who come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and have been or are currently in the juvenile justice system. Our goal is to acquire the technology that will help us build up their 21st century skills and work on other skills simultaneously. To give these students a chance at gainful employment or going to college once high school is over for them. We are trying to close the gaps in more ways than one. Helping us acquire the technology to do so, is a big step towards that. |
