Bustling with excitement, third graders in room 56 crave learning. They love new tools to help them meet state standards of learning. Technology helps our students learn more and in different ways. We need to be able to compete in this age of technological advancements.

Needs:
Durable digital cameras would be an asset to our classroom. We study plant life cycles. How fantastic to digitally record each step in the life cycle in our own gardens! The cameras come in handy for all science aspects as well as math, reading, writing, and social studies.
My Philosophy:
I believe students are individuals. Students must learn state standards but also have some freedom to be themselves. All students want to do their best in school. I am there to help them to succeed.

About Me:
This is my twelfth year teaching in Las Vegas. I enjoy the students and teachers the most! The excitement and curiosity of my eight and nine year old students keeps me energized.

Interests:

Employment History:
I started my working experience as a cafeteria server at Burkholder Junior High! In high school, I worked at a Target store as a cashier, floor person, service desk representative, and in the cash office. I then moved into recreation with the City of Henderson working as a camp counselor at Kids Zone and Summer Magic. Now I work for the Clark County School District.
Why Do I Teach?:
Going to school always inspired me and helped me grow socially and intellectually. I want to instill the love of learning in my students. I want them to find their own passions in school and pursue them.
