Class Description:
I serve as the curriculum specialist for our school which services over 700 students in grades kindergarten through 5 grade.

Needs:
Our need here at Southport is availability of technology for our computer lab. In our two labs, we house 25 computers each, but are looking to expand those lab to offer a more diverse range of technological options: digital camera, smart board, podcasting, etc.
My Philosophy:
Part of my responsiblity as an educator is to prepare my students to be contributing citizens of their community. Through problem solving, teamwork, and project based learning, we can better prepare our students for the unknown future that awaits them.

I am a devoted wife, mother, and teacher. Our family recently relocated to Southport, NC from Corning NY.

BA from Houghton College, Spanish and Elementary MA from SUNY Geneseo, Reading N-12
