I am a Library Media Specialist in the largest elementary school in the Providence School District. We are a High-Poverty school in an urban district. My students range in from PK to Grade 6, with a Bilingual class in each grade level, as well as an ESL (English as a Second Language)class at each grade. We also have four Special Education classrooms in our school.

Needs:
I am very involved in teaching my students how to become literate in the 21st century and exposing them to the many types of technology that exist in our Web 2.0 world today. We are in need of many tech tools, including digital cameras, podcasting equipment, software, and a multifunction printer. I have nine computers with Internet access in my library for all students to use. I'd love to use them with my students in more fun and creative ways.
