Class Description:
I teach two levels of English (freshmen and seniors). I also teach public speaking and mass media courses. My room is full of activities and different learning experiences.
Position:
English/Public Speaking/Media Teacher
Needs:
My students could benefit from my wishlist items - specifically cameras and other technology based items.
My Philosophy:
Learning happens all the time as long as the teacher and the students collaborate ideas and share opinions. When communication lines are open, amazing things can happen!

About Me:
I am a second year teacher; although, I have worked in my school district for 10 years prior as a learning facilitator.
College and Degrees:
B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting (Susquehanna University) M.Ed.in Secondary Teaching (Universityof Phoenix)
Activities:
I serve as the outdoor and indoor color guard advisor, media club advisor, musical choreographer and sound technician, and dance team instructor. In my "free" time, I play flute in a community band, listen to all genres of music and read.

I teach because I want to provide opportunities for children who may not otherwise get such things. I want to provide students with the ability to be successful in the world.
