I teach English Language Arts in a rural area. My students must travel about 30 minutes to get to a town where they can shop.

Needs:
My students need more technology in order to keep up in their educational lives with their private lives. When their public education is finished, they should be able to enter the work force, thoroughly prepared for that world.
My Philosophy:
Learning should be fun and life-long!

About Me:
I have 4 married children and 14 grandchildren. I travel 4o minutes to work each day.
College and Degrees:
National Board Certified Teacher 2003 BA, M.Ed., Ed.S. from McNeese State University NationalWriting Project Summer Fellow 2005
Activities:
I have traveled to Europe with junior high students and to the British Isles with my husband. I love to read, craft, and sew. I am a retired high school soccer referee and soccer referee instructor.
Favorite Books:
Anything by Clive Cussler, Tom Barron, Susan Cooper, Terry Brooks.
Employment History:
37 years in the public school system of Louisiana and still counting

I have always liked sharing knowledge and telling people what to do. :)
