About Me:
I was hired 3 days before the start of the school year to be a 3rd grade teacher at Ranch View. Within an hour of receiving my first teaching position I received news that my boyfriend of 5 years had been killed on his third tour in Afghanistan. I was blessed with an amazing staff that worked around the clock to help get my first classroom ready for the start of school. I am now in my second year of teaching at Maplebrook where I teach 2nd grade. I am highly involved in incorporating technology into my classroom! I was blessed with opportunity to receive a SmartBoard this year. My students have excelled with learning how to use the SmartBoard and are able to teach other students and teachers. I am always looking for new innovative ways to incorporate technology in away that can enhance my studetns learning! I look forward to my new 4th grade position here at Maplebrook for next year!
