I have quite a diverse classroom. I love my students and want them to succeed!

I feel like my class needs these resources because we are a low income school and a lot of my children have trouble reading.

I believe any child can learn. If you set high expectations they will strive to meet them.

About Me:
I have been teaching for five years and love it! I am married and have a dog named Molly.
College and Degrees:
I receive my undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University for Elementary Education in 2006. I am currently enrolled in Southern Weslyan University and will receive my Masters of Education degree in May 2011.
Activities:
I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I also enjoy attending my students extra curricular activities.

I have always taught at Gateway Elementary. I have worked as an after school teacher and a private tutor.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love to see the lightbulb go on. I truly feel like there is not better job than to make a difference in a child's life.
