Class Description:
My class is a diverse group of learners with a range of academic interests and needs. All of my students enjoy learning with technology and are motivated when they can create their own products using digital media!
Position:
Teacher, Gr. 3
Needs:
A SMART board would allow the tactile-kinestheticand visual learners to expand their access to online information. The 3 students with learning disabilities and the 3 students who are learning English as a second language would have another tool to help them master the third grade benchmarks.
My Philosophy:
We do not have one SMART board or document camera in our school. My students have unlimited potential for learning and achieving, but without the tools for a 21st century education, they are on the wrong side of the "digital divide". It is my responsibility to provide them with all available tools to enrich their learning environment.

Why Do I Teach?:
Teaching is my life! Each day my students remind me of the wonders of learning. I am inspired by their effort and creativity, and hope to never lose the joy that comes with being a part of my students' learning experiences.
